Polish of the Month- July

This month I found my new favorite polish color!! This is Little Boy Blue by Unforgettable Moments. I am in love with color.The texture is really smooth and comes on really nice as well. Also, the color doesn't look too bad with my skin tone!

Year round must haves

Here are my year long must haves. mascara,eye liner and chap-stick. These three essentials are a must have for me because when I don't feel like putting to much on,they do the job.

1-Sephora Atomic volume Maximum volume mascara.
This thing is the BEST!!! I actually got it on sale for $5 =O
I don't even have the need to use a lash curler when I put it on.

2-Kiss New York , Luxury Eye Liner.
Don't really remember where I got this from but it works amazingly. It stays on and lasts for a while. I apply this to my loser lash line as well as to my water line.

3-Maybelline ,Baby-lips-Cherry Me lip balm.
Best thing ever invented!! If you have this then there is no need for any lip stick or lip gloss. This baby-lips lip balm does the job of both. It helps give you healthy looking lips and adds a hint of color as well. It goes with anything and everything!

5.7.9 hijab/scarf haul

Look at these pretty scarves! I went to the mall yesterday and just randomly decided to walk into 5.7.9. I walked passed the little section with all their jewelry and that is where I found these pretty scarves. It was like I was in hijabi heaven! The scarves were on sale for 1.99 each, so I bought 5 for 10. They're wide enough to fit on my head and are very light, making them perfect for the summer time.

Tried a different henna/mehndi style

Get the look: Mayor of Storybrooke

Regina is one of my favorite characters from 'Once upon a time' and I just love how her make up is done. Here is what i used to get the look that she has.

1. Sephora powder foundation. If you like, you can use liquid foundation before you apply the powder but I wasn't really going out anywhere so I just used the powder.(Tip:Before applying any makeup to your face, moisturizer with some face lotion =D)

2. Rose Shade Sephora Blush. Apply to the apple of your cheeks.

3. For this you can use any type for brown/chocolate color eye shadow. I used a shade close to my skin just to add some color to my eyes.I applied the eye shadow all over my eyelid. Then, I used a darker shade of brown and applied to my crease.

4. This is up to you depending on what you like to use. I used E.L.F gel eyeliner and applied it on my eye lid keeping it close to my lash line.Just make sure it isn't too thick. Also apply some to your lower lash line as well .keeping it close to your waterline.

5.Now you apply 2 coats of you favorite mascara to your upper lashes and 1 coat to your lower lashes.

6.Lastly, I used E.L.F matte lip color in red but you can use what ever red shade you like. It could be gloss to even lipstick, it's up to you. Make an outline of your lips with red color you have chosen and then fill in the rest,blending the lip line with the lips. (TIP:after applying your lip color use a paper towel and lightly tap it over your lips,removing excess lip color so it doesn't get to your teeth.)

TADA,You're done!! you can use whatever make up brand  you like because i know that i didn't have to use anything that was too expensive and i turned our fine. everything i used i got from local stores..except the 2 things from sephora. :)
